Default Can someone give me the name of some good books??

Looking for the history of card collecting, but am not having much luck. I am interested in mostly the tobacco and pre war eras.

Thanks for the help.

Tim

I would go with Lew Lipset's three volume edition.

I agree. If you type Encyclopedia of Baseball Cards into an Ebay search there's someone currently selling it in their Ebay store. It arrives with a religious pamphlet (from that particular seller) which I suppose is informative if you were curious as to how Mickey Mantle found Jesus (hint: Bobby Richardson).

p.s. I really wish it was an outfielder instead of Richardson, because then you could say things like "he could find Jesus, but he couldn't find the cut-off man."
