Default Need help. Is this a 1948 Bowman Musial proof?

A friend of mine brought this card to show me - it looks to be a 1948 Bowman Musial card but is a clear/translucent photo negative type of material. Is anyone familiar with what this could be - I couldn't find a similar photo on Google so I figure someone on this site would be familiar. Posting a picture -

It's just a medium format transparency photograph (think big 35mm slide) of a 1948 Bowman Musial.
