Seriously, is there still even one educated baseball fan in the country who can still seriously maintain this dude is overrated?

I can't believe how many people profess to hate him...petty stuff.

Mike Trout is clearly, IMO, the best player in the game, but Harper is close when he's healthy.

Agree. Trout 1. He's 2d. I say Votto 3d.

The bad ass punk veneer doesn't sit well with many purists, even though at bottom he's really a very hard-working, fundamentally sound player. Trout on the other hand is the All-American boy next door and it seems genuine.
