Default Best Basketball Card Price Guide

Posted By: Dave Hornish

Can one of you direct me to a good Basketball guide? I am looking for something that is comprehensive pre-1980's. Is Beckett's big guide the best one or are there others? Pricing is less of an issue than information. Any help appreciated. Thanks!

Hi Dave -

I think the best was published in the early 1990's, refered to as "The Sanchez Annual" published by Greg & Virginia Sanchez. Very good for college sets, promotional cards, etc,...

I'm not sure if the recent SCD and/or Beckett annuals are more complete.

I remember the column the Sanchezes used to write for SCD-they had some rare stuff in their collection. I really don't need much information past 1980 so that might work.
