Tobacco stains on Polar Bear cards are acceptable as well are chunks of tobacco.

PSA got the grade right based on the overall condition of the card.

Regardless of what PSA says, the condition of the card is VG-EX all day long.

Yes, there are many examples of newer graded cards selling at the high end of the spectrum compared to older graded cards. Some of it has to do with the grading adjustments, but some also has to do with the new tamper-evident cases. So it's not just the grade, it's the generation of flip (hologram or lighthouse) and the slab itself people are paying a premium for with a newly graded example.

Every time I turn in a nice looking card with stains on it, it gets graded a 1 or 2. For example: 1953 Glendales. That Chase card is horrible , I agree.

Let's see some of your 1s and 2s with stains and no creases, as that horrible Chase? I am guessing your 1s and 2s have some wrinkles or creases. That said the Chase should probably have ST on its flip.
