Default Sort of OT, Sort of Not: Ichiro HR ball

Scott F/Runscott and I went to Friday nights Red Sox at Mariners game, and were right near where Ichiro his his second and game winning home run. In the below AP photo that appeared on and Yahoo news you can see me in the crowd (partially obscured). You can also see Scott, but he was standing up so is head isn't the pic.

What is interesting is that an official in Mariners jacket and badge immediately went over to the fan who caught the ball and gave him a team COA. Specifically for home run balls, the COA was a small card with the vital stats filled in-- Ichiro, date, etc. The official had blank COAs in his jacket and showed what one looked like.

The other thing I learned is Ichiro can with complete ease touch his palms to the ground while standing.
