Default Can anyone help me with some info on this Jackie Robinson ink blotter?

Picked this up about 5 years ago and just started trying to get some info on it lately ( with not much luck)

Trying get a idea of what exactly this was use for, value of and if it has any rarity

I was able to find a old 2004 Hunts auction but that's about it

Any info would be welcome and appreciated

hunt sold one for $143.75 in July 2011.

hunt also sold one for $575 in March 2008.

lelands sold one for $430 in Nov. 2006.

ink blotters were used to absorb excess ink when writing with fountain pens.

i don't think this one is rare but is in demand because of the players pictured.

I have had 2-3 of them. There have been several for sale over the last few years. Nowadays I don't think they bring a lot. Maybe 100-200 dollars, I would be happy. They are "neater" than they are valuable.
